Guarene is located in the Roero area, on the left side of the River Tanaro. Along with the Langhe area, they represent a real paradise for their breathtaking panoramas, dominated by the orderly and comforting vineyards.
Birthplace of Slow Food Association, this is a land of great wines, exquisite meats, cheeses and perfumed Alba white truffle.

White truffle

During autumn, the “ground diamond” enhances the relationship between the truffle hunter (trifulao) and his dog, becoming the real leading actor of the cuisine of the area.

Fruit orchards

The Roero area is land of apples, apricots, peaches, plums and of the noble Madernassa pear. Different types of soils are alternated, giving unique peculiarities to their fruits.
